Lac du Tolerme: 15 min. walk from your accommodation you can enjoy the beautiful lake Lac du Tolerme. Here you can swim (also a swimming pool), fish (category 2), (water) cycling, walking, canoeing, tree climbing, etc. Of course you can also have lunch and dinner here in the restaurants.
Lacapelle-Marival: Lacapelle-Marival, is a 20-minute drive from your accommodation. This charming (small) town is surrounded by the foothills of the Massif Central. Formerly labelled as one of the most beautiful villages in France, Lacapelle-Marival has many recreational facilities for all ages. The warm and peaceful atmosphere make it an ideal place for a family holiday or friends.
Figeac: Figeac is the second largest municipality in le Lot. Figeac developed in the Middle Ages, at the crossroads of Auvergne, Rouergue and Quercy, into one of the most flourishing towns in the region. A 25-minute drive away, you can enjoy shopping, terraces and markets. The town has many old monuments. Figeac is located on the Célé River.
Saint Cére: There are plenty of sights to see around Saint-Céré. The town itself is also lively. Visit the markets. The first takes place every Saturday morning on Place Jean Jaurès, while the second takes place every Sunday morning on Place de la République. The residents of Saint-Céré and their neighbours come here to buy fresh produce from local farmers.
Autoire: The village of Autoire is situated in a valley dominated by the limestone cliffs of the Causse de Gramat, which converge in a valley from which the Autoire River flows for more than thirty metres in successive waterfalls. As you walk through the streets, you will discover beautiful farmhouses with their exposed beams and cantilevered facades. Steep and full of fantasy. Distance 30 minutes.
Aurillac: The large town of Aurillac, 40 minutes away, is best known for its cheese centre. Rich in architectural heritage in the French department of Cantal. Aurillac is also the historical umbrella capital of France. The majority of umbrellas made in France are still made here. Since 1985, the street theatre festival Festival has been held every August.
Loubressac: Visit medieval Loubressac, about half an hour's drive away, and enjoy the panoramic view of the Bave valleys. The village is built on a rocky promontory that can be seen from afar. If you walk through it for a while, you will fall in love all over again. Discover the streets, balconies, stairs and flowered courtyards of the village.
