Ann and Bruno welcome you to their authentic Mas de la Gravière in the midst of apple orchards at the foot of the Luberon, where you can enjoy every luxury without forgoing the old, weather-beaten character of the setting.
Take a rest in the shadow of two large plane trees during a game of boules accompanied by the usual pastis. Enjoy the sun which shines almost all year round and take advantage of the charm that each season offers. You can also relax completely in the private swimming pool that is totally chlorine-free.

Setting
Mas de Gravière in Cheval Blanc is in the heart of Provence and is surrounded by picturesque villages such as Oppède, Bonnieux, Menerbes, Lacoste, Gordes, Roussillon, L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Lourmarin, St-Rémy, Les Baux, Eygalières ... and large towns like Avignon, Aix-en-Provence, Arles and Marseilles. Pure pleasure is waiting for you in this idyllic village just 80 km from “La Côte Bleue”.
Leisure activities
Fans of hiking or cycling can choose one of the many nearby roads or visit the natural regional parc of Luberon. This ideal location between the Luberon and the Alpilles also offers a wide range of cultural and leisure activities. Discover typical markets, try out regional products, explore antique and flea markets and enjoy the atmosphere during a convivial Provencal summer evening. Of course, we will be happy to advise you on the many tourist facilities available in the region including its cuisine.

Two Canadians wish to present 5 Brilliant Stars to the Mas de la Graviere for 17 wonderful days in June 2019. We were treated like royalty by our excellent hosts, Ann and Bruno. Whether you come for 3 days or 3 weeks you will not regret staying at this fabulous property in the village of Cheval Blanc near the Durance river. Always welcoming kind and generous, Ann and Bruno are fluent in English, French and Flemish....maybe in German too and others! They’re always full of excellent ideas and tips for adventures and outings. And for very nice places to wine and dine. Thank you so much Ann and Bruno, Your hard work and dedication has created a lovely home for yourselves and a wonderful place for everyone.
We were two couples seeking a restful vacation in Provence. The Mas de la Graviere is situated near a small village. Across the street are pastures and forest for a leisurely walk and the village center is only 10 min away on foot. Great food is only a short distance away and Ann made arrangements for us to dine in a couple very special restaurants.
Ann and Bruno are the perfect hosts making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Arriving late after driving down from Paris and over scheduling our second day with sightseeing in Provence delayed our “welcome” drink until the third night.
Since it was cool in the evening we all gathered in the living room in front of a warming fire and enjoyed sparkling wine and hors d’oeuvres. Breakfast was served in the kitchen rather than outside due to the cold weather. We shared family stories and made plans for the day over breakfast.
Fresh croissants, homemade jams, fruit, cheeses, and eggs all made a fine breakfast to start the day. You can see by the pictures on their website that the rooms are spacious and well-appointed for comfort. We had no trouble falling asleep after our days of sightseeing. The Mas de la Graviere is the perfect place for a restful vacation. We will certainly return.
