Host Eli graduated from the renowned hotel school “Ter Duinen” in Koksijde. To obtain his diploma, he interned at “Le Grand Hôtel de Saint-Jean de Cap Ferat” in Nice on the Côte d’Azur and in various Michelin-starred restaurants in Belgium.

Host Evelyne studied tourism and gained extensive experience running a hotel and restaurant. And especially in pampering her guests.

Périgueux

Today, Périgueux is a charming city full of art and history. It's no wonder the city is classified as a "ville d'art et d'histoire" (city of art and history). On the one hand, you can enjoy wandering through the old streets and alleys of the city center. On the other, you can marvel at the famous Saint-Front Cathedral. A must-see!

Saint-Jean-de-Côle

Medieval village, listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France. Visit the castle of Marthonia (15th, 16th, and 17th centuries), the Romanesque-Byzantine church (11th century), the abbey (11th century), and the Romanesque donkey bridge (15th century). Stroll through old streets lined with half-timbered houses, picturesque roofs, and bulging facades.

Brantôme

Brantôme, beautifully situated on the Dronne River, is also known as the Venice of the Périgord. You can enjoy strolling through the charming streets or relaxing on one of the terraces. A visit to the Abbey of Saint-Pierre de Brantôme is also highly recommended. The abbey's troglodyte site shows traces of habitation by the first Benedictine monks from the 8th century.

Sarlat

Sarlat, the capital of the Périgord Noir, is a beautiful medieval town. It's wonderful to stroll through the picturesque alleyways and among the 65 listed historical monuments and buildings. Sarlat is also a paradise for lovers of local gastronomy, featuring truffles, mushrooms, foie gras, and more. Enjoy the scents and colors of the charming local markets.

Visit a medieval castle, stroll through ancient alleyways, or explore the vineyards. It's all possible.

Be sure to discover the underground church of Aubeterre-sur-Dronne. Or Oradour-sur-Glane, the village preserved intact as a tribute to the heroes of World War II.
