Le Vertige is situated in the best kept secrets, in one of the greatest natureparcs of France, in the middle of the Auvergne with all its different kind of landscapes. Especially space and nature you can find here. The authentic french countrysite with a lot of biking-and footpaths, picturesque villages en castles. You can walk here for hours without coming across somebody. Le Vertige offers you an magnificant view on the highlands and the Puy de Dome. Our place is also a nice base for making trips to the vulcano's, swimlakes and city's like Issoire, Ambert, Billom, Clermont Ferrand, Le Puy en Velay and the abbaye from the 12th century, La Chaise Dieux. After your trip it's great to be back in the peacefull area of Le Vertige.
Le Vertige has got 5 rooms available for 13 persons. The rooms are furnitured with comfortable beds and decorated in a vintage-style. The cosy common room has a kichenette with microwave, fridge and tea- and coffeefacilities.
Breakfast is included in the price and is served in the dining room heated by a wood-burning stove or you can take it to one of the terraces.In the evening you can join us for a honest biologic meal at the guesttable.
We also offer multi-day and group packages. Le Vertige offers a naturecampsite with 8 spacious pitches and a holiday home.

Situated in the heart of the Livradois-Forex, one of the greatest national parks in France, you will find peace, tranquility and naturer at its very best. The walking and cycling routes are unlimited. It's a perfect base for exploring all that the Auvergne has to offer, including the authentic French countryside, picturesque village, chateaus and wildlife in abundance. Le Vertige is situated in a beatifully peacefull area, from of the terrain there is a wonderful view at the 'Chaine des puys', the 88 volcanos which makes the Auvergne a very special place to visit. From of the terrain you find yourself directly in the middle of nature, where you can see the sundown in the Puy de Dôme. Le Vertige is also a good base from where you can visit Issoire, Ambert, La Chaise Dieu, the volcano's picturesque villages, flea markets, but also a adventureparc, a golfterrain, swimming in a mountainlake and canouing.
