La Grande Dame is a cosy B&B situated in a pure and authentic part of the Provence, between the enormous extensive lavender fields.
At La Grande Dame, you can relax at the swimming pool, at one of the terraces or between the beautiful olive trees. After a long day trip, you can enjoy the jacuzzi in the garden.
At the terrace you have an impressive view over the village.
Valensole was built in the form of a swallow's nest in order to protect the houses against the mistral and literally means 'valley in the sun'.
In the village you can find three restaurants.
During summer the Tourist Office organises many activities.
Within a radius of 100 km there are many trips you can plan. To name a few: Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, Aups, Forcalquier, es Gorges du Verdon, Lac de Sainte Croix, Moustrier Sainte Marie, Mont Ventoux, Roussillon ...
For cyclists and hikers there are several outlined routes on various levels.
