Welcome to Les Hirondelles.
We, John and Marja, would like to welcome you to the Haute-Marne. Relax and enjoy our beautiful surroundings. Whether you like walking or cycling or prefer to visit the champagne fields of the Côte des Bar or other interesting places by car, there is plenty to do in the vicinity. But of course doing nothing at all and enjoying our house and garden is also an option.
Les Hirondelles has four rooms, each with its own bathroom consisting of toilet, shower and washbasin. In addition to breakfast - included in the room rate - you can, if you wish, join us in the evening at the family table in the dining room or, weather permitting, in the garden for table d'hôte, a three-course meal at €22.50 p.p.
Les Hirondelles is located in the Haute Marne near the border with the Aube, with plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling in the immediate vicinity.
At short driving distance you can taste Champagne at the local, mostly smaller, wine farmers of the Côte des Bar or enjoy nature and water sports at Lac du Der. Also in the vicinity is the castle of Cirey-sur-Blaise, where writer Voltaire lived for years with the Marquis and Marquise Du Châtelet. The chateau du Grand Jardin in Joinville with its renaissance gardens and the nearby Mon Jardin de la Moulin are recommended for garden lovers. The Charles de Gaulle museum in Colombey-les-deux-Eglises is also worth a visit. In short, there is plenty to do.
