In the heart of the green hilly landscape of the Lorraine, located on the rustic river Maas (Meuse), you will find L'Orchidée Sauvage. This former farm from 1922 has been converted into five attractive chambres d'hôtes. The small-scale character and homely coziness make L'Orchidée Sauvage the place in Lorraine where you can relax and enjoy the vast hilly landscape.
Complete your stay and enjoy a delicious meal! We serve a 4-course menu (including a glass of wine and cup of coffee/tea) for €34.50 per meal p.p. (Note: On Sundays the tables d'hôtes will consist of a delicious snack board including soup, baguette and tasty tapas snacks.) Depending on the season, we serve the menu in the dining room or outside on our cozy veranda. If you wish to eat with the tables d'hôtes, you must book in advance so that we can take the purchases into account. Special (dietary) wishes will be taken into account as much as possible, provided that we notify you in advance.

L'Orchidée Sauvage is located in the unique piece of nature 'Parc Naturel de Lorraine', between the towns of Metz, Nancy and Verdun. This authentic destination is bursting with impressive sights in terms of history, nature and culture. Forests, rivers, ponds, orchards and meadows and heritage; this region offers something for everyone. The large lake, Lac de Madine, is a popular recreational area with beaches, (sailing) harbors and a 20-kilometre cycle path around the banks.
