La Souche, a mansion with many authentic details: marble stairs, originally painted walls in the corridor, marble mantelpieces and an authentic and unique tiled floor in each room.

There’s a terrace and a beautiful garden with a magnificent view over the vineyards. A lovely place to relax and enjoy the silence, far from bustle and traffic.

On the ground floor there’s a dining room with a large fireplace where breakfast and dinner are served if weather does not permit eating outside. In addition there is a public 'salon’ with a small library.

Four very comfortable and stylish rooms are situated on the first floor. These rooms accommodate 2 persons and all include a seating and facilities to make coffee or tea. All rooms have their own bathroom containing bath, wash basin, toilet and a separate shower.

Saint Chinain itself is a characteristic wine village, located in the middle of the wine region of the same name. Twenty villages in the neighbourhood produce together one of the most renowned grand crus of the Languedoc, the Saint Chinian. Wine lovers can indulge in tasting and buying fantastic wines directly from the various Domaines.

Also very tasty is the traditional street market in St. Chinian, every Thursday and Sunday morning. This market offers lots of specialities of the region, such as honey, olives, cheeses, oysters, mussels, chestnuts, etc.
